Corey Martinez - Ender Ender. Well, we just hit the dozen count on our 'Ender Ender' series and who better to take us through than a man with one of the longest video section careers out there, United's Corey Martinez. The King Of Alabama describes what went into getting his final wild clip from the Still United video... trust T-Nez to come up with a move like that!
Corey Martinez has been at the top of the game for ever now. It almost seems like he's been using a cryogenic freezing process to allow him to keep putting out bonkers DVD sections time and time again. For his 'Still United' part he decided to mix things up and go away from the classic rock song format that he's been used to (his intro will remind you of those old tunes and just how many bangers there have been) and straight up party on his bike with some Three 6 Mafia - we think it works a treat. Has anyone else put out this level and number of sections over such a long time?
Must Dust is a meditation on where BMX and art collide. As Artist’s, it’s easy to feel limited by the obstacles, be it a lack of resources, internalized fears or the challenges in making something great. For me it’s a reminder that my voice, ambition and resourcefulness will always be the driving force behind what I create. But most importantly, the process of creating is ultimately the most rewarding part; even when it feels like it’s going to fall apart. This piece was initially self funded and produced. It started with an idea, we filmed it and Red Bull jumped on board with their Raditudes series. The project was daunting. With little to no money I had no idea how we’d pull it off — especially finding a location we could destroy without being arrested. The piece wouldn’t exist without the amazing and talented people who donated their time; without Gear Seven's dedication; Corey Martinez who got on board immediately; or without Red Bull’s support in the end.
Some riders just have 'that thing' and Corey Martinez is one of those few people. Celebrating the end of his tenth year as a non-stop part of the United family, T-Nez has done it all - numerous epic video sections, NBD's, and trips throughout the world and all with that fun loving attitude. Corey has been there with United since day one and this video celebrates their unity. If ever there was a model for a true professional, it has to be this guy. Recall and enjoy some of his finest moments. All hail T-Nez!
It's never anything but good times shooting with Tnez and we had a hell load of fun with him on Still United. Needless to say, his section was out of hand so it's no surprise that he's got some top class extras for his Still United Files.
We spent 5 weeks on the US roads between Nashville, New Orleans, Austin, Phoenix and San Diego.
Endless good times and riding session with various homies, what BMX is all about! Enjoy this one!
