X Games 2017 - Dirt Qualifying Highlights.16 dudes battling it out for seven spots in the finals to join Kevin Peraza, James Foster, and Ben Wallace in the finals on Saturday. I'll let the runs speak for themselves...or maybe I'm just really tired.
I'm not gonna be factual, but in my opinion, this was the best vert event in recent history. Everyone rode well, the back and forth of Vince Byron and Jamie Bestwick made for a hell of a contest, and DMC was all right...that's good with me.
Pulling double duty as father and supreme human on a bike, Gary Young's "day at the office" is a bit more entertaining than most. From whipping up some eggs, chilling at the park for a morning session, barging a pool, and hitting up an epic ditch, Gary shows how he Shreds Til Dad. Soooo, my wireless mic setup is getting zero range in this massive stadium, so I can't do any mic'd up stuff. My apologies. As a consolation prize, I strapped this new GoPro Karma Grip with the Cable Extension setup onto willing victims and had them give you a first person view around all the courses here at X Games. A sincere thanks to Drew Bezanson, Simon Tabron, Morgan Wade, Colin Varanyak, and Anthony Napolitan for being down.The setup didn't work too well for the street course, but hey, can't win 'em all.
