Lord Leopold - Animal 2017. Marko Mrđenović AKA Lord Leopold was born in the wrong century - his classic peg work and pole jammery is top of the class and often overlooked these days for more flamboyant bike moves. No wonder Animal Bikes was the home for this guy.
A DIG Magazine caption once read, 'watching Geoff Slattery makes my eyes watery!', and how right it was. His section in 'This Is United' back in 2010 opened up with a massive bang (quite literally) and he then went on to grace our eyes with fast, creative and often downright scary riding. Day 7 in our 'Twelve days of Aitken,’ which is a retrospective look at Mike Aitken’s BMX career as seen through the eyes of some of those who know him best via a selection of his hugely influential video parts, hones in on an unconventional pairing of Mikey and “Sentenced to Life.” At this point, everyone was a fan of Aitken, including Dave Mirra, who was heading up a video called “Sentenced to Life” filmed by Brian Purdy.
