Over the weekend the 2025 National BMX Racing Championships were held in various countries. We've listed the Elite Men and Elite Women champions below so you know who can run the sleeves for a full year.

Portugal turned up the heat for this weekend’s qualifier in Loureira — and so did the riders. Under a blazing sun and blue skies, the action was fierce, the racing tight, and the vibe full of good energy, freestyle flair, and trackside smiles. In the Elite Men’s race, it came down to the smallest of margins. Malo Dusseau Brossard (FRA) and Nils von Niederhäusern (SUI) went bar to bar in one of the closest Big Finals we’ve seen this season — just 0.006 seconds between them. Malo took the win, but Nils walked away with UCI World Final qualification and a performance that turned heads.
Spain’s Sergio Vegia Amando took third after winning the all-Spanish Small Final against Marcos Lorenzo Manau, while Luca Eckhardt (GER) lit it up on the MTB and earned his spot in Monthey with a fifth-place finish and style to match — thanks to Malo already securing qualification earlier in the season.
In the Elite Women’s field, Alba Fernández López (ESP) was in a class of her own.

Talk about being outside… Dan Lacey really outdid himself with this one. The Overground LDN, Monster Energy Cash Up Jam was pure chaos. A BMX jam on a rooftop in central London with one of the best views? Count me in. Add $5K in prize money and some of the world’s best street riders battling it out… you know it was a good time.
Sixteen floors up in London's Tobacco Dock area of the city, riders met up for the first ever Overground LDN event, hosted by Dan Lacey, and part of Monster Energy's 'Cash Up' series. The UK sun was shining and there were three great spots on hand. Let's just say it got wild... you need to see this!

In Elite Men’s BMX Freestyle Park at Brussels Urban Sessions 2025. 30-Year-Old Sandoval from Corona, California, Wins Contest Sanctioned by UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale). 22-Year-Old Kim Lea Mueller from Remscheid, Germany, Wins Women’s BMX Best Trick Competition. The medals don’t stop for Sandoval! Monster Energy congratulates team rider Daniel Sandoval on taking first place in Elite Men’s BMX Freestyle Park at Brussels Urban Sessions 2025 this weekend. In the premiere European action sports festival, the 30-year-old from Corona, California, soared above the competition with a perfect technical run at Parc du Cinquantenaire in the Belgian capital.
In the Women’s BMX Best Trick competition, 22-year-old Kim Lea Mueller from Remscheid, Germany, took the win with a technical standout.
From July 4-6, the annual Brussels Urban Sessions festival attracted the world’s best BMX riders for a weekend of competitions on the massive park course. This year’s event took place at a new location: the historic Parc du Cinquantenaire in the heart of Brussels provided an open-air backdrop for the unique combination of action sports, street art, and musical performances.
In Sunday’s Elite Men’s BMX Freestyle Park final, Monster Energy’s Sandoval entered as a favorite after most recently claiming bronze in BMX Dirt at X Games Salt Lake City 2025.
