After 5 great years, I am sad to say I'm leaving Diamondback. I've had the best time with the Company and with my former teammates. I want to especially thank Trevor Knesal, who signed me on to the Pro Team when I was only 11, and sent me on the best trips and to the biggest contests around the world. However, a great opportunity has come up for me outside of DB and I will keep you guys updated when it is final. Thanks again to everyone at Diamondback. 
Life is good sometimes. Well, most of the time. We can't complain really with what we have and as long as we're healthy, there's no reason to be pessimistic. But sometimes things are just awesome and they work out fine. Once a year we get an invite to ride the Grand Prix motocross track in Valkenswaard. TMV and TwinAir pull out all stops to give back to their dealers and friends and invite them for a free day of motocross on a well prepped and unique track. It was the day after the ONK that I grabbed everything together and threw it in the van, hoping I did not forget anything. It was going to be my second MX ride in 6 months so I was ready for a tough day. The track opened up at 10am and was in excellent shape. Flat and moist. Always the best for us amateurs to do some laps. Later in the day this changed. It got rough, dusty and hot but it was still good fun. Martijn Verbakel's fun had ended by that time already as he had not put on the TwinAir filter correctly which cause his borrowed bike to stop running.

What goes on at the Olympic training camps, stays at the Olympic training camps. The testosteron flows like crazy over there it seems like. With everyone in top shape and girls and boys together in one place it's hard not to lose focus. Today we have a photo for the boys and one for the girls of racers in top shape. Good enough to make it to FATBMX's Friday pin up age.
On this end we've been lucky with the weather lately and since it's June, we hope you're having some warm days too. That means that most likely you'll be hitting up the beach or the pool in the next few days. If you want to show up in style, move on over to the Foxhead website where you can order one of the new FOX boardshorts. Plenty of new designs to choose from. A lot goes into these shorts for you to look good, feel good, and chill good. 
We can't wait to go visit Axel Jurgens' Eurocamp down in Spain in a few weeks. We're actually camping out over there from 21-27 July. The place looks too good. Next to the 800m2 skatepark they've also worked on a foam pit, pump track, dirt trails, 800m2 street park, spine miniramp, and a resi set up. And this is Spain so most likely the sun will be out. So there's a swimming pool AND private beach to cool down at. On top of that there are 3 nearby skateparks, international riders visiting the spot (Stefan Lantschner and Rubio during FATBMX week) and professional staff handling the campers.
