BMX Pro racer Kyle Bennett died in an automotive accident last night. The GHP racer, who participated at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, was 33 years old. Kyle was the 2002, 2003 and 2007 Elite Men world champion. Kyle raced for Standard Bikes, S&M, Nirve, FreeAgent and made the switch to GHP this year. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family. Times are tough.

A Brian Foster documentary was show at the Texas Toast event last night. To some BF is just a current ripper on trails, but he's got some stories to tell. He's "been there done that" and not just in the freestyle world. Brian grew up racing BMX and made it to the pro class and was up for the #1 Pro title. If I remember right, he had to get top 5 in the last main and crashed out on a flat turn in Oklahoma. He missed the title and never went back to a BMX track again. Giving up a healthy racing paycheck from Schwinn was a tough thing to do, but Brian wanted

The Red Bull Skylines event in Paris is going to be one of the biggest sole BMX events that have come to France. 24 pro riders have received an invited to ride the Nate Wessel designed course inside the Grand Palais in the heart of Paris.
