The third round of the 2013 UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, which was held at the Olympic Training Centre in Papendal-Arnhem (NED), has been voted “best event” of the series. Papendal has been given the thumbs up from riders, the UCI BMX Commission, sponsors, the UCI, GSX Events and media representatives. An event featuring the biggest jumps and most progressive trails in BMX dirt history debuts on NBC this Saturday, November 9 at 5 PM ET/2 PM PT as part of the Red Bull Signature Series. Appropriately titled Dreamline, this jaw-dropping event was created by BMX rider Anthony Napolitan, who wanted to take the sport to a new level with tricks never before thought possible. On Saturday October 26th, 5050 Skatepark had its 2nd annual Halloween Jam. We took over Front Street and built ramps in front of the building and had over 150 Riders from all over New York and New Jersey. Beside the Jam 5050 Skatepark premiered the Mark-it DVD for the East Coast. Red Bull gave a week scholarship to Woodward East to the winner of the best trick contest, which was a tie between Steve Quigley and Alex Avilla. The Tie Breaker was a game of BIKE. Steve got BIK then turned it around to beat Alex. It was the most intense game of bike I have ever seen!
