The first ever UCI Category 1 event will happen this weekend on Scheveningen Beach in The Hague, Netherlands. The Park event under the UCI/KNWU umbrella kicks off with Park practice on Friday afternoon 14:00hr - 16:00hr. More practice time on the 040BMXPARK course will be available on Saturday at 11:00hr (till 12:30hr). Don't forget to bring your UCI license if you want to participate in the Elite Men/Elite Women BMX Park class. Qualification will take place on Saturday afternoon at 15:00hr. The finals on Sunday will start at 16:00hr. There is also a full Amateur Park contest on Sunday and a Street contest on Monday (bank holiday).

Here in the UK, we have this saying "Every Dog has his day", well...Jean William Prevost had a whole year and deservedly won a lot of contests, awards (Nora Cup, FM) but his achievements go beyond that with his work for inside the flatland industry with Far East and IGI. This year at Bike Days I caught up with the man to talk about how his year unfolded, we discuss everything from winter training, winning contests, motivation, helping bring on other riders, video parts, Flatland in the Olympics and while lot. This Is just semi finals and that was one of the craziest contest i've ever witness.. Brian Fox has lost his damn mind it's not even the finals and he did the biggest double backflip of the event and even 1080 to step down. Brian Fox believes it's going to rain tomorrow....
