It's that time of the year again when the biggest crowd in BMX gets together in Montpellier for the Fise World Series. Next to the legendary Spine Ramp contest also the UCI BMX Park World Cup for Men and Women as well as the UCI BMX Flatland World Cup will be shown live here on FATBMX. If you can't figure out the exact times make sure to check in on the FATBMX site on a regular basis to see what's going on at that point in Montpellier as it's going to be a ful week of BMX here in the South of France.

Favorite Rider's Favorite Rider is a new RideBMX series that sheds light on the influences of your influencers. To start things off we got Dennis Enarson to discuss his favorite rider of all time, and it shouldn't come as a surprise... We're talking about the legendary Josh Harrington.
GGFEST is a wild action sports festival by the Baltic Sea in Latvia. The BMX side of things is organized by the riders for the riders and everyone who's ever attended will confirm that this is as authentic of a BMX vibe as you can get these days. For 2018 the dates are set for July 27-29. Everyone is welcome to join riders from all over in the small and welcoming town of Ventspils, Latvia to celebrate what we all love about BMX!

Australian Saya Sakakibara has moved up to the Elite ranks and so far it has been a smooth transition making podiums at UCI BMX SX World Cups and such. The Red Bull rider is aboard a DK bike with custom Michram sprocket that weighs in at 8.4 kilograms. We've got the parts list for you. Philip took care of the pics at Papendal.

JunkieJam 2.0 at the Junktrails coming this 9th of June. As you may know these aren’t really trails but one wooden trickjump (6 feet high, 10,5 feet radius) with a soft landing and an old school quarterpipe we cut down this time to 6,5 feet high (with 8 feet radius) Last year everybody had a blast trying so many new tricks on this setup so there had to be a sequel…..
The jump was liked by all last year so no changes there. The roller coming into the jump was giving some people a bit of a problem but in true BMX spirit people were helped and coached so at the end everybody was having a good time. This year we will reshape the roller so more emphasis can be put on pushing for hard and new tricks on the jump. Music will be played, free beers will be shared and the BBQ will be lit and again we hope to see a lot of people push their limits without injuries.
