The world's best BMX riders from across the globe converged in heated competition as the 2015 Van Doren Invitational came to a close this afternoon. Thousands of fans filled the the Vans Pro Bowl stadium on the sand in Huntington Beach to watch the highest levels of BMX riding from a variety of expert specialities.

The next LOD is on the schedule. What has been arranged so far and what still needs to be done?
Patrick: It's been few months that we work hard on the 2015 edition and so far everything looks pretty good! We just came back with Markus Hampl from the contest location where we changed the line to have the maximum pleasure for all riders.The big change of this year ll be definitely the Live stream as we have the opportunity to show our event on TV and internet platform and give the chance to everybody to see what we do. Its a big step and the pressure is on!
Then as every event, the big work will come during the event but we re used to it and I'm sure it'll be all fine.
On Friday 14th August EpicTV, the online action and adventure sports group, in association with Polk Boom will host a screening of the winners of the inaugural Boooom Fest at Arch 3 within Cargo. Boooom Fest is a quarterly film festival that aims to unearth the very best in short action and adventure film. From May 2015, amateur and professional filmmakers from America to Sierra Leone have been submitting their sixty-second videos, with hundreds of entries having now been entered in the competition.
