Three national titles will be up for grabs this weekend as the 2014 USA Cycling Collegiate BMX National Championships take place in tandem with the USA BMX Super Nationals at the Metroplex in Desoto, Texas. The event, slated for April 4-5, will represent the third year that USA Cycling has awarded national titles to collegiate athletes in the discipline of BMX. On the line will be individual national titles for both men and women, as well as the coveted team omnium title.
Collegiate racing begins at 5:00 p.m. CDT on Friday with the podium ceremonies taking place on Saturday.
Many of the country's top collegiate cycling teams are expected to make strong runs, including Fort Lewis College, Lindenwood University, Marian University, Mars Hill University, and Colorado Mesa University.
