BMX Career numbers change after each UCI World Championship. The new World Champions get to show off with the big number 1 on their plate and the rainbow jersey on their shoulders. The top 8 numbers are reserved for the finalists but they can either stick with their current career number or show off what place they got at the latest World's. In the Elite Women class the Smulders family already have their jerseys printed. #1 on the back for Laura and #2 for Merel while Judy Baauw has chosen to got for the W3 plate from now on until the UCI World Championships start in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium next year. Sylvain André will rock the #1 plate in Elite Men with Joris Daudet keeping his #33 career number. Mr. De Souza will proudly rock the #3 for a year and get used to Joris Harmsen running the W4 plate, Kyle Evans with the 6 and David Graf turning in the 48 for #7 for the upcoming races.
