Yo wasuup y’all ! Its been such a fun year and a half working on this one! Massive S/O going to Maker from Junkride for the opportunity to work on something bigger then usual!
Name: Jayce Cunning
Sponsors: Speedco BMX, Avian Brand, Seven MX, Ethika, Carters Transport, Haydens Floor Coverings, Michram Industries, Cardiff Earthworks
Mechanic: Jayce Cunning haha.
When's the last time you took your new bike to the track?
Jayce Cunning: I was actually at the track yesterday doing some coaching but I didn’t ride a lot. Before that the last time I took it would have been the start of December as we have had plenty of rain around and I also hurt my shoulder so riding hasn’t really been on the agenda the past month.
Has Covid made riding your bike difficult?
Jayce Cunning: At the beginning of covid I didn’t ride at all as the tracks were completely closed. Fortunately our beaches were open for activities so I was able to go surfing everyday to keep sane. Although, once the tracks opened towards the end of the year I rode more than I probably ever have. I was loving being back on my bike, filming for my “Cunno’s World” YouTube videos and taking ramps to the BMX Tracks to change it up, have fun and entertain the youngsters.
Shop name: Signature Bmx
Location: Vantaa, Finland
Years in business: 15
Best year yet: 2010
Worst year yet: 2020
What were your first thoughts on Covid-19 when it hit?
Signature Bmx: A bit worried if we can keep the shop open.
Did you take any action from the start or were you thinking this would be over in a few weeks?
Signature Bmx: We stocked some sanitizers and disinfectants immediately. It was pretty obvious this will take some time. Finnish people keep distance naturally and don't socialize too much so it's been quite easy. We're definitely not a hugging nation.
Even though 2020 was full of craziness, I still had some of the best moments of my life this year. I accomplished many goals and had many races that made this year successful in my eyes. The year is over and I'm ready to move on to bigger and better things. I'm looking forward to an even better 2021!
"What happens when we're not out producing video parts? Cancelled Crew is back with a skatepark tape, filmed over the course of 2020 in and around our hometown of Nuremberg, Germany.
After big plans for filming a full length video, the Villa Road troops soon realised that 2020 had an ace up its sleeve, and none of them would be travelling. When you've got such a wild set of trails right at home though, it was always going to be a good year, despite the lack of new sights and experiences. This is 2020, via Villa Road - and damn did it look like a hoot.
Mike Zinger has been on a filming mission recently, and now he's got another sick one via British Columbia resident Kyle White. Such a sick variety of stuff throughout this. Enjoy!
Quick vid of Eeshond getting down.
Anthony continues to pump multiple edits out year after year. Heavy hitter for sure. Heres some of the work put in through 2020. Enjoy!
I know a lot of you have been asking "where have the vlogs been". The truth is I do not enjoy making that type of videos any more! I really love just documenting and this is just that, a documentation of a trip the boys and took 2 weeks ago up the pch! There isn't a ton of narration in this ( I know that) but its a work in progress!
