Photo captions are a nightmare for magazine editors. Coming up with something good and/or funny for every photo drives the editors crazy, especially in times when the deadline is coming up and you're already lacking 3 nights of sleep. At FATBMX we have a maximum number of characters that we can use to go along with every photo. Those appear when you park the browser on the photo and wait a second or two. Saying a lot in a few words is even tougher. Today we have a photo that needs a caption. It's your turn to send it in.

While the NBL held the grands on the Eastcoast, the ABA had a pro race going on in Reno, a city similar to Las Vegas. The 2005 NBL BMX racing season has come to an end with the Grands being held in Kentucky last weekend. Samantha Cools and Mike Day are the new NBL champions. Check if your favorite rider made it to the top three in the overall standings or if they scored some cash at the race in Louisville. 2005 NBL Title Results: Elite Men:

DJ Lavaman and DJ Tommi will work the turntables at the Transbull jam in Utrecht on 17 September 2005. The jam, contest and workshops will be held at the Transwijk skatepark. The workshops start at 13:00pm, followed by the jam at 15:00pm and the Trick Contest at 17:00pm. When the Inline demo starts at 18:00hr you are allowed to leave the premises. Braun have set up two series this year, one for flatland and one mini ramp tour. The winner of the flatland series wins a Suzuki Motorcycle where the winner of the mini contest series drives home in a Jimny car. Pease note that there are only three stops left for this year to score points:

NEW YORK - August 31, 2005 - The Dew Action Sports Tour, the first-ever, season-long multi-sport professional tour in action sports, will host the International Cycling Union (UCI) BMX Supercross World Cup Finals as the specialty competition at the Toyota Challenge on Friday, September 9 in San Jose, CA. The fourth stop of the Dew Action Sports Tour, the Toyota Challenge takes place September 8-11 at San Jose’s HP Pavilion, and features professional competitions in skateboarding, BMX and freestyle motocross. We want to say congratualtions to Dave Freimuth and his wife Patie on the expansion of their family. Yup, it's a son! Here's the 411 from Dave: I just wanted to write and let everyone know that Patie finally let the bun out of the oven. Our new son Thompson was born at 5:16AM this morning after keeping his mother up for 26 hours... Patie did invent a couple new swears, but who can blame her. I'd rather break my pelvis 2 more times before going through what she did last night!

The American Bicycle Association, with collaboration from many of the top professional athletes and manufacturers, is proud to announce an exciting new pro program for 2006 which features increased payouts per event and expanded year-end awards. The new pro series will feature a reduced fourteen race weekend series for the AA Pro, Girl Pro, Pro Cruiser and Veteran Pro classes to determine the #1 Pro in each division. Also new for 2006, the ABA Race of Champions held on Friday, the day before the Grand Nationals, will be included in the pro points chase.
