Over 1000 spectators braved the stormy conditions that met the Italian qualifier for the Red Bull Pump Track World Championship. Fans were not disappointed as riders from all over Europe put on an incredible show of speed and style. In the Women’s field, Vanessa Kager made the trip from Austria to Trentino in search of her ticket to the World Final. Having come so close in Balzers earlier this month where she secured 2^nd place, all was to play for in Italy. Seeing off fierce competition from Camilla Tagliapietra in the final, it was Kager’s turn for glory and she took the top step of the podium.

In the Men’s field Giacomo Fantoni was pitted against Eric Seifried in the final race of the day. Have battled throughout the day in knock out heats with the 32 fastest riders from seeding, the World Final ticket would come down to one race. In a hotly contested battle, Fantoni would steal the win from Seifried and claim his ticket to the World Final in Springdale, Arkansas.
