The 10th version of the Nokia Fise will take place in Montpellier, France from 12/16 July 2006. We received some drawings of the street and dirt courses and this year also a spini mini ramp contest will be held (1,70 meter high, 4,50 meter wide and 20 meters long). Vert will be on Sunday. The dirt jumps have always been big at the FISE and this year won't be any different. As always there will be a flatland contest too. Some of the international riders that are on the list to make an appearance are John Heaton, Dave Freimuth, Max Vincent, Mike Miller, Ben Wallace, Matt Fairbairn, Alejandro Caro, Mark Theaker and Josh Nendza.
Meeting Taj Mihelich will be easy in the first two week of July. He will be touring with his band Snake Trap for a little bit so if you live anywhere near MO, AR or TX, you gotta check it out. They're playing with Gorch Fock on the first 4 stops and for the grand finale Taj's band will be joining The Paper Chase at Emo's in Austin. While we're on the Taj subject, check out the subscription special that they've got going on over at Cream BMX this week.

Criteria and timing of invitations varies by sport and discipline, as it is based on the state and event schedules of that particular sport. The only exception is each gold medalist from X Games 11 (2005) receives an automatic invitation to compete. Information on each committee and its sport’s invitation process can be found on each X Games sport organizer website.
