Let's keep the $ 5000,= USD in the hands of a BMX-er. The Dew Action Sports Tour is hosting a best trick of the week contest and Ryan Nyquist, Chad Kagy and Daniel Dhers are running against a skatebaorder and a freestyle motocross guy. This is already a good thing because there is more chance of a BMX-er winning than a skateboarder of FMX-er. Anyway, click this link and follow the steps. According to Ryan it is possible to vote up to 20 times so go crazy. Ryan is doing a barspin no foot cancan on dirt. Kagy does a 540 flatspin flair on vert and Daniel Dhers pulls a 3-whip with a no-footed can can in there.
FBMBMX will be holding a Jam at the X-dreams park in the bowl on Sunday July 23rd. They're putting 500 bucks up for best line/trick with the help of Duffs, and Leland will be in a chicken suit. If you fancy dressing up yourself you can be awarded with a random $ 100 USD cash handout. Making money has never been this easy. The event is only a couple of days before the annual Kink Demolition Derby so lots of people should be in town. Are you down for a bowl of creamy ghetto flavor?
The Flat Art Crew is putting on a Funk BMX movie night. Instead of soccer they'll show BMX at the Haus Der Kunst in Stuttgart, Germany.
