Things took of yesterday with people arriving to Tallinn for the Simpel Session. The RIDE UK mini cooper got confiscated at the border, some people missed their flights, some luggage did not show up but the good times at Club Hollywood at night made up for it. Practice is about to start and a lot of riders are eager to shred the Nate Wessel designed course after watching the Facad, Broke Off and Volume video in the cinema. Here's a selection of photos from last night. Don't tell anyone........
This is some serious shit for the web geeks and whoever unlucky person who cannot attend Simpel Session contest in person. We're excited to announce that the whole event will be video-broad casted LIVE on the internet. This year it's gonna be with full festival sound and graphics (judges scores, names, slow motions and so forth - the full deal as a decent tv broadcast) and as last time it's with great quality! We have 8 cameras and two of them on cranes filming all weekend so everything will be covered.
We're about to take off to Estonia for the Simpel Session and we're not alone. Steve Bancroft, Robin Fenlon and Phil Aller are on their way in a sponsored mini from the UK. That's a hell of a trip but should make up for a good story. Roadtrips rule. Nate Wessel has arrived and started putting things together on the street course which already looks awesome. With the following rider list it should be a crazy event, can't wait. Stay tuned for updates from the Simpel Session here on FATBMX.com.
- Taka (Takahiro Nishikawa) joins the very small group of riders selected for the 2007 Red Bull Circle of Balance, february 24th. That's a proof of Taka's level.
We've got a new poll up but before we get into it we will give you the results of the most recent FATBMX poll:

Terry Adams is a busy cat. Traveling to contests gets him around and he isn't shy of a camera either. He is the only flatlander to get two covers on American magazines in 2006. When it comes to filming, Terry knows how to get in the picture as well. After doing clips for Fuel, Disney and an ABC show, Terry did a strange solo project where he was loving his bike. Add to this the Incubus music video starring Adams where he is setting priorities straight by ditching the girl over a photoshoot.

Last summer we did a road trip and made a video out of it. We had a good crew together with Rolf, Colin, Vladdie, Michael and Arnaut and filled up two cars and hit Germany for 7 days. The first two days we went to the Duesseldorf University. That place is amazing, Uni Puni for sure. The next 4 days we spent in Cologne. Slept under a bridge and then managed to work something out with the Jugendpark so we could sleep where the BMX Masters Dirt jumps were. That contest finished a week before we showed up. We rode a bunch of street in Cologne. Thanks to the locals for showing us around.
After doing a BMX 'zine for ten years (1987 - 1996) FATBMX made it on the internet. The year was 1998. Here to stay.
