Hi, my name is Kase and I've been riding for a few months now. I'm pretty damn good on a bike. Do you want to see my trick of the day? I'm sure you do. Well, here we go:

I heard about this Red Bull Circle Of Balance contest in Tokyo so I started working on some flatland moves. Just in case they need me there, I can load up my bike, grab some snacks and take that plane. The snow outside doesn't really help with the rolling tricks I've been thinking of so I've got to stick with tech tricks like this brakeless vertical boomerang. I've got a couple of days left to work on my flatland riding but I can tell you that I'm ready for any battle. Bring it on Jumelin!

You see, I'm wearing etnies shoes in this picture. I haven't signed any shoe deal yet but I'm open for offers. 

The mesh skatepark 2 year anniversary weekend is going down on Saturday and Sunday February 24th and 25th. The weekend is going to be packed with events to celebrate 2 years of operation.

On Sunday the 25th there will be a BMX jam with the UGP team. UGP team members Adam Baker, Karl Poynter, Tony Malouf, Dan Sieg, Chad DeGroot, Quinn Semling, Tom Haugen, Dave Brumlow, Kip Williamson, Dave Freimuth, and Brian Kachinsky will be at the park at 6pm.

Two people will also recieve 1 week at Woodward camp for summer 2007. They're not sure yet how they're going to pick the winners but they'll figure it out in the next few days.

I wake up, put my Albes shirt and Duffs on because you never know what paparazzi is waiting around the corner when I open the door. I take my DK bike, get full speed and whip down the stairs straight to the breakfast table for some Lucky Charms.

Airing Sunday, February 11 at 9:00 pm Eastern Time (6:00 pm Pacific Time), and re-airing another seven times during the week, BMX pro Corey Bohan stars in FUEL TV’s original 30-minute series “Firsthand.” In this episode, Bohan heads to Whistler B.C. for the prestigious Red Bull Elevation dirt jumping contest. Next, the three-time X Games gold medalist goes on an old school road trip to hit as many parks as possible from Whistler to Portland, Oregon. In Portland, Corey and his crew session Burnside and the exclusive Salem Trails. The Australian-born rider then returns to his current home for some surf and to show off his favorite So Cal riding spots.

- Contrary to what the last two welcome ads we’ve ran report, Davey Watson is no longer part of the DB program (he’s now riding for Federal). We love Davey very much and he’ll be a friend of DB’s and of our rider’s as long as he’d like to be, but we encouraged him to take the Federal offer. Having riders outgrow our budget and move on to greener pastures is nothing new to us, but no one has ever done this as fast as Davey did.  

Correct me if I'm wrong but we're in the second month of the year 2007. 2008 is not really around the corner but it looks like Kink has everyone beat with their 2008 complete bikes. That's right, complete bikes from Kink Bike Co. We received the following info from Kink's product manager and photos, spec and pricing of their 2008 line.

Today I have something to announce that all of us here at Kink are really excited about. First though, I would like to talk about what has been going on around here at Kink.

The name of this jam alone should already tell you that the intention of getting together is just to have a good time. It's being held at Skate City in Las Vegas so that's an other reason to make the trek. 24hr/day action and sunshine this time of the year. Add 13 concrete skateparks in the city to that and you can't go wrong. The contest has a beginner class, expert class and 100% payback pro class. The comp starts early on Saturday 3 March with beginner practice at 8am. Pro contest starts at 5pm.
