2007 the Battle in da Club tour is back! Four cities, four clubs and each time 16 of Germany's and Austria's best riders. In the end one of them will be get the BidC crown.

Once more the scoring system changed. The top 4 riders of each battle get points in the ranking and will directly qualify for the next battle. "Simple, hard but fair" is the new motto and that's why we decided to use the simple 1-on-1 battle mode again this year.

Mixed up with incredible live acts the BidC tour 2007 will definitely rock da house.

Kase is on the road at the moment but he found an internet cafe to make sure we have a new photo of him today. There was no time to set up extra flashes as the tree huggers came after Kase quick.

Kase took the RV out for a trip and found this tree and stopped immediately. He unloaded his ride and made it over to the tree to check it out.

On the way back from the park Kase wasn't tired yet and when he found a bucket and a piece of wood, he created a ghetto park for himself. Kase knows what's going on.

As I told you before, if you look around, you will find something to ride. Just use your imagination and be creative. In the photo I took a piece of plywood, a brick and created a jump.

"Thanks for checking back in. It's been harder getting a photo for the daily update but I've just stayed up a little later and rode a little hard. This time I took it to the park. It was late at night but that's how the pros do it too I heard. " said Kase. He did come through with another great shot to impress the potential sponsors.

Let the bikes in

Yeah that's me doing a smith on the sub.  I broke into the park late at night  because the damn skaters don't allow bikes in. If you look close, I'm wearing sandals. Reef, where ya at?! Naah, I don't like to ride in sandals much but I was sick of giving the other brands free love.

Vans teamed up with Schwinn bicycles and tricked out a 1968 Krate Bike to match the Vans sparkle slip-ons that you can see in the photo. The sneakers will be available for purchase on VANS.com , but the only way to get a hold of this extremely low-run bike is to enter a contest on the Complex site. One lucky winner will be drawn randomly.

After mulling it over with most of the team, and discussing possibilities with the innards of Profile, we are excited to annouce that Chad Degroot is now riding for Profile! We have some ideas is the works, some roadtrips planned, some photos to be shot, and some product to develop.

Speed is all you need.

I'm about to get rid of those stupid training wheels but for the moment I need them to get full speed without falling over. I told you, I've only been riding for a couple of months so give me a break.

I pulled this rail manual on my third attempt. The first two times I grinded the rail on my training wheels which could actually be a trick too but once I take off these things I can't do that trick at the big comps anyway.

-Just a quick mail to tell you what's happening for me over here, well I am riding for Wethepeople, I spoke to Harry and Klaus and will be back on-board a new bike soon. Stoked that we sorted everything out and everyone is happy. I'm also riding Odyssey parts for the Padded Cell here in the UK.

-The Alley in Corby has had planning approved for the new roof and Vert/Resi ramp so the building should start very soon which means that the UK/Europe should have its first true Vert Resi up and running. Hopefully before the end of May. 

The Boneyard Jam is happening on 23 February 2007. It's an evening jam that starts at 7pm and goes on until midnight. It's BMX only for this night and you can ride your brains out for 10 quid all night.  Spectating costs 3 quid if you dare to come.

There are all kind of prizes collected for this night. There's a highest bunny hop contest too so work on that for the next few days. Expect locals Jon Taylor, Robin Fenlon and Owain Clegg to be there. If Alistair Whitton is going to make it to his hometown park we don't know but if he's not, he'll be gutted.
