The Braun cruZer Tour will kick off for a third year at the Nokia FISE event on May 16th in Montpellier. A unique concept, the Braun cruZer Tour brings three independent BMX competitions together with a special contest at each venue on the Braun Spine. Riders compete for a prize of € 5.000 at each contest and pick up points, which go towards the overall Braun cruZer Tour standings. At the end of the three events, which are the Nokia FISE, the NASS in Bath (Somerset), England in July and the Suzuki BMXMasters in Cologne, Germany also in July, the rider with the most points will be crowned Braun cruZer Tour Champion.

It's almost time for the Mini-FAT-JAM in Aarle-Rixtel. It's the official opening of the season where BMX-ers of all ages gather for a fun day at the trails. The Sugar Hills have seen some changes and adjustments over the weekend and are ready for action. Satuaday 31 March is the day. Red Bull Empire of Dirt, the world's first BMX DIRT SLOPESTYLE contest, is the brainchild of UK rider Kye Forte, and combines influences from each of the BMX styles, to create one unholy new discipline guaranteed to challenge the very best on the planet. "The aim of the Empire of Dirt is to bring together all different aspects of BMX in one contest; to really challenge the rider's versatility," says Kye Forte, Newton Abbot local and top UK rider. "We also want to make the week surrounding the event totally memorable - both for the riding, and the social scene - putting Devon on the global BMX map."

The creative Canadian BMX stunt rider, Angie “sKwirl” McEwen and Extreme Sports Stunt Team Owner/rider, Brent Sprute have joined forces to put together an amazing Extreme Sports Stunt Tour like no other! “sKwirl blew me away with her ideas and vision for a girls tour that would be empowering, educational and a lot of fun.” Said Sprute. The tour will take place over six weeks starting in September and running through mid October. The venues that will host the tour will be as varied and colorful as the riders that will be on the tour. Malls, Bike shops, skate parks and other hotspots will all be packed when the tour rolls through the U.S. and Canada later this year.

Dusseldorf/Cologne, 22 March 2007 BMXMasters is back and will again take place this year in July. The contest will be held from July 13-15, 2007 – one week earlier as planned. Reason for changing the date is to avoid any overlappings. The international BMX contests are close this summer and we wanted give the riders the possibility to enter all contests.
