The Shadows are coming to Europe to ride and party. From 7 - 21 August the following team riders will be on the road: Ali Whitton, Byron Anderson, Joe Simon, John Jennings, Ryan Sher, Owain Clegg, Matt Roe, Alex Dropsy, Kevin Guerdner plus a mystery guest. Hope that's not The Gonz. They've got two official stops on the program that are set up with the help of their distributors in England (Seventies) and France (Frenchys).
The open park session with BBQ in the UK will be held on 10 August
The Flat Art Crew is putting on a Funk BMX movie night. Instead of soccer they'll show BMX at the Haus Der Kunst in Stuttgart, Germany. Next to the Deluxe BMX videos they'll have a live flatland show planned on July 1st. The BMX flatland show starts at 21:30pm and the film starts at 22:00pm. It's free to attend.
Next to this news blurb, Flo Sailer had the following to report:
FBMBMX will be holding a Jam at the X-dreams park in the bowl on Sunday July 23rd. They're putting 500 bucks up for best line/trick with the help of Duffs, and Leland will be in a chicken suit. If you fancy dressing up yourself you can be awarded with a random $ 100 USD cash handout. Making money has never been this easy. The event is only a couple of days before the annual Kink Demolition Derby so lots of people should be in town. Are you down for a bowl of creamy ghetto flavor?

Nasty is back and gets the cover of the August issue of RIDEBMX that is 132 pages thick this time. Not bad, not bad. Nice ads are fun to look at and this issue starts off with cool HARO, DC and Odyssey spreads. Sergio's one-footed invert on the next page isn't bad either. You get two foldout posters. One of Dave Mirra (courtesy of Bell Helmets) and one super size poster of Tom Haugen (Free Agent). I'm glad that RIDE updated their myspace site so I can copy what exactly is in this issue. If you have any further questions after reading the extensive content list, I'm sure Fudger can answer those.
