From July 29-31, the Orange County Fair will enjoy three days of gravity-defying action sports entertainment when ASA Entertainment’s Big-Air BMX Triples event jumps into action at the OC Fair’s Action Sports Arena. At 8:15 p.m. each night, ASA Entertainment (ASA), the global leader in action sports event and television production, debuts a unique spin on BMX bike riding in Southern California with an international roster of competitors sure to thrill even the most casual action sports spectator.....

We’ve been working with a guy called Andy Cheney on parts development for éclat, and recently noticed the new S&M Pivotal converter. Turns out Andy was working on something similar, so we thought it might interest people to check another perspective. We've also asked Andy to comment on his version of the converter, since he's been working on it the past few months now. Here's what Andy had to say:  "Sometimes we all have good ideas.

Although this is not a SoCal only competition, it would make more sense for the people who leave near Los Angeles to enter this. FATBMX has an X-Games competition going right here where you can win an X-Games T-shirt, posters, an X-Games hat, skateboard deck, and 2 pairs of tix to Saturday and Sunday of the competitions (Aug. 2nd and Aug 3rd). It's been another huge day down at Red Bull Empire of Dirt . The slightly windy conditions in the morning cleared by midday and then real fun began. Today in practice the main focus for the riders was

Every year, the first week-end of september hold the traditionnal Auvergne trail meeting and this year again, the "Revival Trail Invitational" will take place in Cournon d'Auvergne (63), France on September 6 and 7. The trail will be again ready for some great actions on "ROCCO", "ZERMI 63" and small trail sets. Week-end highlights :
-Tchoutchou contest (teams of 3 or 4 riders)
-King of poney (best jump caser of the event)
-Photo/video shootings
-Party downtown Clermont-Ferrand city on saturday night.

In the baking heat a number of the world's finest BMX riders got their first taste of the epic Red Bull Empire of Dirt course. The riders leading the charge included Kye Forte (UK), Brian Foster (US) and Gary Young (US). South African hopeful Buddy Chellan was super pumped at the end of his practice session. When RedBull caught up with him, but only after he got his breath back, he said, 'This course is awesome. I love the way it combines all three BMX disciplines. I have never experienced a course like it.

The following is from Bubba Harris:  "On Monday July 21st, I was released from Redline Bicycles. With my injuries and recent surgery, I was unable to fulfill my obligations under the current contract.
After 8 years with Redline I want to thank them for everything they've done for me. I wish all my teammates the best in the future and will always consider them my teammates. As for me, I will be back and stronger than ever.........you haven't seen the last of me.
