So with a thousand other liquid speed style products out there...the peeps at Bawls definitely want to make sure your FAT ass is not running behind. This new energy drink is the official sponsors of the NBL for the 2007 season, and expect some new track records, because this shit works! So we have received a nice little package from our friends at Bawls Guarana. A box filled with a bunch Bawls Guarana energy drinks, regular and sugar free (not sure why we need a sugar free one...) and a couple dozen bouncing balls. Which always leads to new fun, especially when you are high strung of this Amazonian jungle juice.

For those who don't know much about Guarana, It is a shrub or small tree in the Sapindaceae family, native to Venezuela and northern Brazil. The seed of the Guaraná fruit is a central nervous system stimulant with thermogenic and diuretic properties (as found on a quick Wikipedia search).

Do you think it's right that the event is taking place in Japan this time?
TA: Yes I do! Japan has the most flatlanders so I am hoping for the most energy.

Do you believe that Japan is the country where flatland is most popular?
TA: I would say yes. They have riders everywhere. Flatland is well respected.

Do you have an idea why?
TA: I think it is because the Bike in general is accepted.

How crazy do you think the crowd will go when the battles start?

Mike S: Yes, I was invited to COB 1 and 2 as well.

Do you think it's right that the event is taking place in Japan this time?
Mike S: I don't think there is a right or wrong. I like to go to Japan for the event, and I am sure the Japanese crowd will love it!

Do you believe that Japan is the country where flatland is most popular?

Keelan: Nope not before so I'm looking forward to it.

Do you think it's right that the event is taking place in Japan this time?
Keelan: I don't really think it matters where it is, as long as riders are there it could be anywhere, but why not Japan, it's massive there.

Do you believe that Japan is the country where flatland is most popular?
Keelan: Probably, I've never been there before but I hear and see on videos that there are loads of riders and it's so crammed with riders everywhere.

Alex: I like the style of the Japanese riders, they have good clothes when they ride. That's why it's more fashion there and so much more popular.

With Friday off from school, a jam-packed car eager to get exercised on the snow-coated roads of Sweden, and the knowledge of an amazing week-end to come, I would say that my wellbeing could’ve been characterized as top notch. The destination was set to Capital Bikepark, Stockholm’s finest setup of ramps made possible by long-time BMX-enthusiast Andreas Lindqvist. The five hour drive was supposed to be made worthy thanks to Andreas Lindqvist’s Invitational Winterjam, an arrangement with an experimental approach as far as contest format goes. 16 riders, considered to be Sweden’s best, was invited to compete in a format called “Battle”, and at least I had raised my anticipations to the edge.

Next, the three-time X Games gold medalist goes on an old school road trip to hit as many parks as possible from Whistler to Portland, Oregon. In Portland, Corey and his crew session Burnside and the exclusive Salem Trails. The Australian-born rider then returns to his current home for some surf and to show off his favorite So Cal riding spots.
