Hello everyone, it's not my style to appeal, but on Saturday, July 5, 2025, a tragedy occurred that deeply affected me. We were working at the BMX Bike Park to renovate some ramps and transitions when a welding spark struck the foam pit, starting a raging fire. I tried to contain the flames by jumping into the pool to remove the burning cubes, but the flames spread too quickly. I managed to get out, but with second-degree burns to my hands, arms, and face. I was hospitalized for two days.
The result?
Over 15 years of work literally went up in smoke. The foam pit, the airbag, the wooden and resin structures, and many work tools were destroyed. The images speak for themselves. I can't even explain how painful it feels to see everything vanish like that. But I tried to save part of my life, risking my own.
