Big shocker this morning to hear that BMX Plus! magazine is no more. We've got issues dating back to 1980 and have photos printed in our brain for years to come. BMX Plus! kept it real giving freestyle and race some love in every issue. Niek Kimmann got the cover of the last published mag and you should try to get it because it'll be a keeper. Here's the word from Ben Crockett, editor in chief at BMX Plus! for the last 15 years or so:
After almost sixteen years at BMX Plus! which is about to turn 37, I am very saddened to say that the magazine will be officially closing its doors. It has been an amazing ride for me, from growing up reading the mag, to being able to run it for a decade and a half. It has been an honor.
