The HARO team went on tour in Japan last week. To end the trip they had a demo planned at the Red Bull Circle Of Balance event. The night before showtime only a frame of a jump box was finished. When we returned the next day, a complete quarterpipe, jumpbox, quarter was finished, freshly painted in black. Although they did get the measurements wrong, the experienced HARO team consisting of DMC, Nasty, Casey, Klinger, Napolitan, MacKay, Nyquist and Enarson knew how to turn it on. 
Nobody likes to get hurt, but it will happen when you ride BMX. Dressing for the ride, not the crash is an option, but it sucks to deal with the consequences. A scrape is okay, it will heal. A broken bone sucks and will take you out for a couple of weeks. Torn ligaments are worse, those can take up to 9 months. We've had to deal with some terrible crashes lately that sent riders in a coma. People, it's not worth it riding without the proper gear. The more you wear, the longer you'll ride.
