Last night we followed the World Cup Supercross BMX finals on the internet. It started at 10pm here and took us in the night, but with Robert de Wilde doing well in his last race it was hard to switch that computer off. Robert made it to the semi finals and Merle van Benthem, Laura Smulders and Twan van Gendt cruided into the final 8 race. While we were behind the computer, our friend Ken Paul was taking care of the photos and came back with a great selection of action shots from Canada. 
The Final race of the World Cup Supercross season was a good one for Bas de Bever's squad. Laura Smulders took the win in a lucky race in the women's class and then Twan van Gendt took the win in the Elite men class. It ain't much, if it ain't Dutch, right? The 2012 overall World Cup SX titles went to Australians Sam Willoughby and Caroline Buchanan. Check today's results right here. More on the race in the near future.
