Mauricio: "Here is the brand new skate park from Guararema City, the park is located 1 hour away from San Paulo, Brasil and has steep transitions, rollers and berms and a sort of Volcano in the middle of the park. The skate park was designed for Daniel Arnoni one of the best skaters from Brazil.
With the HARO UK tour/Bike Show and Paul's Paultique 10 years anniversay/mini FAT-JAM going on last weekend neither one of us could make it to the Joe Kid on a Stingray premiere in Hollywood. We're actually bummed to have missed this event and are looking forward to see the Bang Pictures movie on the history of BMX.

In a breath taking final, Australian Ryan Guettler wins the Braun Spine contest at the UK Bike Show to become the first leader of the Braun cruZer Tour ranking.Stoneleigh, UK â€“ 03 April 2005. 39 riders representing 11 nations gathered at the 2005 UK Bike Show for the first contest on the world’s largest mobile mini-ramp. The 250m2 ramp, designed by Peter Jandt and Stephan Prantl, features a 2m high (6.6 feet) spine which proved to be a challenge even to the very best, amongst whom Ryan Nyquist multiple X Games winner as well former world champion Dave Osato.
Long time pro vert rider John Parker is starting a magazine. It will be a quarterly publication with some strong distribution (40.000). Jared Souney and Paul Zitzer are on board as partners. - Props has finished production on a 30 minute special episode of the 2005 Toronto Metro Jam for FUEL TV that will be airing in April. Check www.fuel.tv for more information.
- Stew Johnson and the Odyssey Team will be heading out on a 10 day road trip across the South East for Props Video Magazine Issue #56.
- Props Video Magazine Issue #56 will include a RED BULL bonus DVD featuring the Red Bull Team in Mexico and well as the RED BULL Drenaje, which was a huge contest in the sewers of Mexico City. The two-disc DVD will be shipping on June 2nd.

Jim Rienstra runs Aspire which is a BMX video contest. You enter with your own video part and a team of judges will decide if you're a winner. All great entries will end up on the Aspire BMX DVD. You don't need to be a pro to enter or live in California, or travel to a contest. Use your local terrain and have a mate film you, edit your part and send it in. May 7th is the deadline for round 4.
