The second round of the 2012 UCI BMX Supercross, to be held in Norway next April 13th and 14th, has been moved to a new indoor venue in Randaberg. The Randaberg Arena is just seven kilometres away from the originally planned outdoor venue in the centre of Sandnes. This slight change means the event will not be affected in the event of bad weather.
Although this will be the first time that a round of the UCI BMX Supercross is held in the country, Norway hosted the 2010 European Championships
I had a nice training camp in Florida and riding my bike again went better than expected, but watching the race in Oldsmare from the sideline isn’t my thing… When I left home a few weeks ago I had no expectations about riding the track again, because it was 3,5 months ago since my crash in Genéva and I didn’t know if my wrist allows me to ride again?

Tough weekend for me here in Florida. With some positive aspects I can still work on. This was the first race weekend where all the Pro's would be at and we could see exactly what needed to be worked on. The first days racing was horrible and I was struggling with getting into a rhythm. With inconsistent starts which is a huge no no in the Pro class makes it almost impossible to play catch up in the lap.
Second day I had improved on my starts and got through the motos and into the quaters. I rode a solid lap from the outside which wasn't enough to get me a top 4 spot. I'm still very positive and looking forward to ironing out the creases. My next race is in texas in the middle of march. I'm going to be working hard on some stuff and hopefully will bring some better results back.
The focus and time to peak for me is World Champs and these races are great to keep fine tuning on the way to London.
