Which race in 2015 turned out better than you could have hoped for?
Luis Brethauer: Overall last season was not the season I was hoping for at all. So most of the times it was the other way round. Still, after dislocating my shoulder in Argentina, with the doctors telling me that it would actually need surgery, the race in Rock Hill two weeks later was pretty decent with a quarter final finish. The main goal for this race was to keep the shoulder in place, so it was kind of better than I could've hoped for.

Tweed Heads speedster and Rio Olympic hopeful Bodi Turner has put in a blistering display to easily win the elite men’s race in the second round of the 2016 BMX Australia National Series at Nerang on the Gold Coast. Joining Turner (Eastfield BMX Club) in the rush towards Rio and the winner of the women’s elite race for the second day in a row was Mackay-raised Gold Coaster Melinda McLeod (Nerang BMX Club), who again completely dominated her rivals.
