In exactly one week the BMX Worlds 2012 from 13. – 15. of July will kick off in Colognes Jugendpark. Some of the best riders and a top of the notch course is waiting for you! The BMX community is already hungry for the BMX Worlds weekend. Some of the best riders from all over the world are making their way to Cologne. The general conditions are perfect. The folks over at etnies in Amsterdam sent over a nice package of etnies products to give away here on FATBMX in an online competition. Monster Energy congratulates its team for yet another amazing performance at X Games Los Angeles 2012 last weekend. All in, the team earned an impressive 13 medals across four sports (Skateboarding, BMX, Moto, and Rally) throughout the four-day event in Downtown LA. Jamie Bestwick made history by taking a record sixth-straight gold in BMX Vert. He dominated the finals with the two highest scores of the event to make for a very convincing win. Bestwick’s Monster Energy teammate Vince Byron backed him up and took the Silver, his second-straight silver at X. On June 30th Monster Energy hosted a party at the Club Nokia at LA Live in downtown Los Angeles to honor all of their competing athletes and celebrate the X Games weekend. Invited guests enjoyed music by Alabama born rapper, Yelawolf, Tommy Lee/DJ Aero and DJ Steph. Guests included Rob Dyrdek from MTV’s Ridiculousness and Fantasy Factory, BMX-ers Ben Wallace, Pat Casey, Scotty Cranmer, Andy Buckworth, moto icon Carey Hart with his wife Pink, moto athlete Jeremy Stenberg aka Twitch from VH1’s The X

The Monster Energy team has taken two podium spots in BMX Park at X Games Los Angeles 2012 today. Scotty Cranmer was the clear top rider throughout as he took the Gold, and Pat Casey earned the Bronze in his first X Games finals appearance. Cranmer dominated from start to finish. In his heat he threw up two really solid runs to take a 78 and qualify first for the finals. Even though the runs in his heat were packed with tons of tricks, Cranmer had more in store for the finals. He came out of the gates hot and nailed a backflip double tailwhip, 
Monster Energy congratulates Dakota Roche on his Bronze medal in BMX Street today at X Games Los Angeles 2012. The rider from Huntington Beach, CA manhandled the course as he earned his second-straight bronze in the event that took place on the event deck at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles. A really powerful rider, Roche seemed to find all the unique lines no one else could as he progressed through his heat and eventually to the podium.
