The 2015 UCI BMX SX season is upon us. The World Cup will kick off in Manchester this weekend with qualifications on Saturday and the actual race on Sunday night. Who will qualify for the main program? Who will make finals? Who will make the podium? Who will win? Can Liam Phillips pull it off three times in a row in England? Find below the 2014 overall ranking in the men category. It's now task to score points heading into the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. Every nation needs the points to send as many riders as possible to Brasil next year.

Olympic gold medallist and BMX world champion Mariana Pajon and defending series titleholder Caroline Buchanan are set to battle it out on Manchester’s indoor track at the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup next week (18-19 April). The rivals will join up to 250 of the fastest BMX racers from across the globe, including Great Britain BMX Academy rider Charlotte Green, for two days of showcase racing at the National Cycling Centre (NCC). Launched in 2012, BMXLive.tv became the source for live-streaming the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup, with the high definition webcast with steady streaming and minimal interruptions. BMXLive.tv have had an impressive viewership and a following of loyal BMX and action sport fans throughout the world that has grown steadily throughout the years. In between events, BMXLive.tv also offered original video content and archived race coverage still able to command impressive viewership numbers and a legion of loyal fans.

We decided to skip most of the Am racing in Zolder on Saturday and arrived only at 5pm. With Elite/Junior warm up scheduled to start at 18:30hr, we had some time to walk the pits, do a few laps on the pump track and catch up with a some people in Zolder. Racing on Friday went on till midnight and we had yet to see when the racing would be over on Saturday for round two. An entirely new race was on the sheets and once again loads of racers had signed up to learn the track better for this summer's UCI BMX World's. Friday's winner Connor Fields had decided to skip round two to save some energy for the upcoming UCI SX World Cup and to not risk any injury racing the race. Maris Strombergs also rode just in practice so if you don't see his name on the results sheet, it's not because he's not fast any more. He simply did not participate. Mariana Pajon neither but she had a different reason. But anyway, racing in both Junior and Elite classes were nothing short of spectacular. It's good fun watching the action because every single lap is unpredictable.
