Arcadia, California – Crupi is proud to announce that Mike Moeller has signed with Crupi for the 2006 season.  Mike was an original member of the Crupi/Challenge Team back in 2000 and ‘01, then moved up to the Crupi Factory Team in ’02 and ’03.  Mike has since proven himself as a top 10 AA Pro and will be Crupi’s only Pro rider for 2006.

Cristian Becerine and Jason Richardson who have been with Crupi through the ’04 and ’05 seasons will move on to new teams in 2006 and Crupi would like to express how much they have enjoyed having them both on the team

Michal Prokop and friends will finally have a brand new BMX/4X track in Prague, capitol of the Czech Republic! It was named Polis XIII: The Fourcross & Bicross Capital. Check the photos of the current situation over there. They started to build it three weeks ago and everything should be done before the end of this year. This is Michal Prokop´s home track designed by Mr. Holeshot himself. He'll be the man to beat in Prague.

The first race will be held on May 1st 2006.

This weekend was the Big Indoor Race in Geneva, Switzerland! It is in a really cool place, there is a bridge going over the freeway and the arena is on the bridge! This weekend was also a big Supercross race here in Switzerland with some of the top Moto X guys showing up. So we raced during the afternoon then the Moto guys did their thing at night. The track was interesting for sure; the first straight was a typical track, fast and a lot of pedaling. The second straight was three huge doubles! Not the longest but at least 7-8 feet tall, it was like riding trails! The track had some problems and was really soft for practice Friday night.

The 2005 ABA Grands were one of the most anticipated Grand Nationals in years. With 2 riders standing out in AA Pro all season, it would come down to the main event to decide the title. Kyle Bennett came back from Knee surgery a few months back and has been on a hot streak, winning AA Pro at each of the last 6 ABA National events. Randy Stumpfhauser sat just outside of the top spot in the Pro Cruiser ranks and wanted to retain his #1 Pro plate. Both main events were full of excitement and surprises. Kyle Bennett went into the ABA Grands with one thing on his mind, to win the AA Pro Main on Sunday. As things kicked off on Friday, at the Pro Spectacular, Kyle looked to be on track, as he was out front all night on his way to the main event. When the main event gate dropped, Kyle was off the pace just a bit and finished up 3rd overall. Impressive, but he would have to do just a bit better to capture the ABA #1 Pro title. On Saturday and Sunday, Kyle went unbeaten on his quest to the title.

Stoppelcross November 2006 – ‘Another day in the field’

The debates of whom was going to be the fastest from the Fat bmx team had been going on for weeks. Finally the 6^th of November was there to take home the personal trophy for beating your pals on the corntrack in Handel. After a short training session we geared up for the first series of 15 minutes and one round, luckily Paul, Edward and I got in line early. There was no lottery for the best place at the start, the first one to come had the best pick. All three of us had a good place at the starting gate so everything was fair so far. As soon as the starting gate dropped everybody was gone except............. me. My Honda shut down (no excuse) and I left the start as number last.

2006 Intense Team Issue BMX Bike

Team Avent / Bombshell made a large presence last week in Phoenix. We had perfect weather for racing. The track was super fast with the first turn was always packed.

Saturday we woke up to another beautiful Phoenix day. The AA Pros followed suit with three in the mains. Donny Robinson was focused all weekend pulling out a third for the day. Jason Richardson rode his F1 forks to a 5th place. Tyler Brown staying consistent with the odd numbers took a 7th home for the day. Cassie Bushnell battled against a stacked Pro girls class, but had to settle for eighth place. In Pro Cruiser Donny Robinson extended his lead for the ABA title with a commanding first place. Randy Stumpfhauser took 3rd on his F1s. Jason Rogers was not far behind with 5th place in Pro Cruiser. Kyomi Waller was on top of things with a 5th place in Vet Pro on his F1's

Redline's Bubba Harris is leading the ABA BMX series. The ABA season is going to see the end at the Grand Nationals in Oklahoma at the end of November. Bubba has a maximum number of wins going into the Grands. All he can do now is keep his competition away from scoring maximum points by grabbing the victory himself.
