The National Bicycle League announced today that Hyper Bicycles is the new National Title Sponsor for the NBL National Series. The sponsorship also makes Hyper Bicycles the Official Bike of the NBL. Hyper Bicycles will bring high-quality products and professionalism to the NBL brand. In addition to the sponsorship of the National Title, Hyper will add the NBL to the Hang-Tag program and television advertisements for the Donny Robinson Replica bike which was introduced through select Walmart stores throughout the country this Spring and is available on Walmart.com. The Hang-Tag offers riders a 30-day free membership in the NBL to encourage new BMXers to get involved in NBL racing.
32 Women will race tomorrow's BMX Supercross World Cup race in Copenhagen tomorrow. 16 riders qualified out of qualifying round number one. The remaining riders had a second chance to qualify and the top 16 fastest racers were taken to the main program. Here's how it looks:
Results are in of the first time trials at the UCI BMX SX World Cup in Copenhagen. The fastest 32 riders after the first time trials round made it to the main program. The rest of the riders had another chance to make it to the top 32 riders for a second time. The 2010 UCI BMX World Championships will be held from 29 July - 1 August in Pietermaritzburg, the second largest city in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, and its administrative capital.
