It was a no-holes-barred final stage for the Braun cruZer Tour at the Suzuki BMX Masters in Cologne, Germany, but defending champion and series leader Mark Webb crashed out on his final run. Webb, who has won the two previous legs of the Tour and was champion in 2005 and 2006, was on his best form. He had already pulled out a Tailwhip to the sub-box and was flying across the ramp but fell heavily after misjudging a relatively simple trick. He knew immediately what had happened. “My arm is broken,” he announced from the ramp. “Tell someone it’s snapped!” Before being lead away by medics he proudly displayed the bone that was bulging out of his forearm to the crowd to massive applause.
It was left to Daniel Dhers (VEN) and Ben Wallace (GBR) to finish their runs and they didn’t disappoint the enormous and enthusiastic crowd. Dhers knocked out huge Alleyoop Flairs before nailing a No-Handed Flair and a Double Tailwhip over the spine.

The "30 Years of Radness" European launch was held at the Village Underground in Shoreditch, London. A great night was had by all and for those who couldn't make it here are a few pictures to show you what you missed!
For Free Agent's Kyle Bennett, a 1st and 2nd at South Park put him only two points behind his teammate, Cristian Becerine, near the top of the Elite Men standings. Becerine, who has the most wins under his plate this year, traded wins with Bennett at the Stars and Stripes National to set-up the finale’. This will make for a thrilling finish to the NBL season and don't count out NBL's reigning Champion, Formula's Donny Robinson - he showed his true colors at last year’s Grands and would like nothing more than to be the first Pro to repeat since the ’97 & 98 seasons when France’s Christophe Leveque earned back-to-back NBL Championships.
Redline's Kim Hayashi holds a comfortable lead over Supercross's Sam Cools and Krystal Hime and is focused on earning her 5th consecutive NBL Elite Women’s title. Felt's Jason Morris and MCS's Jonathon Villa gained ground on Profile/J&R's Mike Kapes which should set up an epic finish to the Super-Ex season.
Mother Nature is a BMX fan! Despite weather forecasts predicting cold and rainy days for the weekend, a packed Whistler Village witnessed the skies clear and Red Bull Elevation go off to once again live up to the hype as the best event in BMX dirt jumping. From the first run, the 32 invited riders were throwing it all on the line and in the qualifying rounds, it was Corey Bohan who led the pack dropping a double tailwhip, superman seat grab and backflip in his first drop-in!
From there it was a battle between Bohan and 2005 winner Ryan Nyquist as they dropped every killer combo on the course and inched point by point up the board to land first and second place settings leading into the finals.
Suzuki BMXMasters 2007 now weatherproofed The weather forecast is a bit unsettled, so we've taken steps to make sure the Masters can still go ahead, whatever the weather! Vert and Mini-ramp will now be roofed, with special seating being erected alongside the ramps. The flatland tent is up already – located as usual, so flat will be running events all weekend long!
Oh, come on now! It's time for a real bmx pin up! I found this rarity somewhere in the internet and it is great! Some sexy woman + BMX + old school! Yeah! And even though it's old school, it's totally freestyle since she's in some skatepark! Oh, I'm Otavio Raupp from Brasil Thanks!
We're doing a summer edition of Simpel Session - in Tallinn city center on 25th of August 2007. The contest doesn't have big prize money as the winter version but even more so it's just about riding. The event mostly serves a purpose of being a local qualification for big winter Simpel Session in January. But of course everyone else is welcome to join too!
The location is great, new Wessel park is shaping up specially for the event and all the girls wear skirts and bikinis. Hehe.. So if anyone has been looking for a reason to visit Estonia in the good weather season then there you have it. The contest will be in BMX park. And there's a lot of street spots to ride here as well. Check updates and get in touch with us: session.ee Last year we did smaller summer pretour events in three cities but we haven't done a bigger summer contest in 4 years. It's gonna be fun!
What an unbelievable day this has been. For once every single thing that we aimed for we achieved. Nothing is impossible! The day started early with the arrival a clinical ascessor from Craig Hospital Denver, Colorado. Her job was to determine whether Stephen would be suitable for their Rehab facility. During the 3 hour meeting, Stephen was accepted and a bed was available for tomorrow, Thursday, the last admission day for this week. The family were informed of how his Rehab programme would proceed.
