It's been a while since announced the Parano*Garage bcrossionale videocontest. The videocontest is over, actually since 3 months, but now find time to give you an account of it. After showing the videos in the late evening at the Adventsjam in the Playground Skate Hall in Aurich compressed the movies to quicktime format and put them on our website www.bcrossionale.de people started to download them and two days later the data transfer maximum was reached (50 GB a month), so the project had to change the hostingproduct because so many people where downloading the videos. Now this is fixed. Come and watch the 2005 bcrossionale movies, we have some transfer gigs in reserve.
Last year we visited the etnies skatepark in Lake Forest and were denied access so all we could do is take pictures from behind the fence. One year later we gave it another try hoping that the rules had changed. I parked the Subaru Outback in a spot and walked by the cop car on my way to the entrance with the Canon in hand. My question was simple: "Can I take some pictures?" as I wanted to walk into the park. This innocent approach usually works but not at the etnies park.

VANS have been a proud sponsor of the FATBMX site from the start. On our recent trip to California we stopped by. Mike de Wit took some time off his busy schedule to show FATBMX around. We peeked in the design department (sorry, no pics), walked the hallways, stopped by the warehouse, had a quick look at Steve Van Doren's office (looks like a Hawaiian BBQ in there), found some empty seats where Jerry Badders and Peter Dericks were supposed to be working, checked the showroom and then went across the street to visit the shoe design department. We saw some really good stuff there but again, no pics allowed.
It was bound to happen sooner or later. DIGBMX have finally got a new website up and running. Don't expect all sorts of comps for free products or a message board where you can spout off about who you think is better than your friends at riding though. The newly revamped Dig website is basically an extension of the magazine. It's loaded with overspill (photos and content) from the actual magazine, a rundown of the current issue on sale, a new web zine section, music reviews with links to MP3s, a Repo section, links and event listings. Dig Webmaster Dave Sowerby labored hard over
Well, the jam was literally blown away. While the rest of Spain had to suffer hard rain and snow we had sunshine - BUT... heavy blowing winds, a thing vert-riders hate most. So we decided not to ride vert and we all ended up trying new tricks into the foam pit- having fun anyway. On one hand it was a pity that we couldn´t ride together but on the other hand it was great to see that almost every BMXer from Valencia (and beyond) was showing up and that there is a BMX-scene here. Thanks a lot to Mankind-Rider Juan Ruiz and Ismael for coming all the way from Albacete. Looking foreward to see everybody at the next jam ! Björn

Obviously it will stock an extensive wethepeople range but we'll have an unrivalled stock of other brands and related clothing as well. Brought to you by the guys of wethepeople and Janosch‘s BMX Shop. Unlike mailorder, you can come and feel and see the real deal, or just hang out and drink a cup of coffee or tea!
