Japan is a good place if you're looking for some exclusive shoes. Some models are made specifically for the Japanese market and that's the case with some of the VANS shoes we ran into in the Shibuya area.
If you have a Vans shoe fetish, drool over these photos. I'm sure there is a pair in there that you've never seen before.
Sidewall Distribution, the exclusive distributor of Hoffman Bikes and SMPL BMX in the US, is pleased to announce the addition of SNAFU to its growing portfolio of leading BMX components, apparel and accessories for Independent Bicycle Dealers. Says SNAFU co-founder Harold "McGoo" McGruther of the Sidewall alliance: "Sidewall and SNAFU are a perfect fit. When Sidewall founder Mark Owen worked at Hoffman bikes, he was among the first product managers in the business to spec his complete bikes with SNAFU components. Mike Collins is SNAFU's brand manager. Before joining SNAFU, Mike and Mark were OKC neighbors and co-workers at the Hoffman Sports Association, the organization that brought BMX and freestyle to ESPN."
Today the COB tourist trip took place. It's good to see more of the city than the hotel and contest venue and Red Bull took us on a bus tour and boat trip and then we ended up at a dinner at a fancy place with free drinks. How can you beat that?
Practice is tomorrow and the venue looks good. The floor is grippy and the place is sold out (oversold actually so let's hope everyone makes it in). More on the COB to follow, stay tuned.

Japan is one of the cleanest countries on earth. We've noticed that while just walking the streets. The only thing that the cleaning crew has to pick up are the cigarette buds that do not make it to the trash on accident.
With a close eye we noticed some street art that doesn't really fit the city but it's out there. Tags, stickers, pieces, all that stuff. We took some shots of what we saw for you to check out. Tokyo is a clean city but there is some ghetto art out there. Enjoy.
