It looks like Nick Busey's preparation for his trip around the world on his BMX bike could use some support. We admire his courage of just grabbing his bike and start pedaling with a few bucks in his pocket. read about his idea and if you see him at your local park, give him some space on your couch and cook him a macaroni and cheese. He'll need that power food to keep pedaling around the globe.
Hey everyone, I've been busy training and preparing for my upcoming journey. I leave in just under three months now, and it's time to get everything ready. People have been posting on the forums, and telling their friends. I've seen posts on several message boards and news listings. Donations have been trickling in over the last few weeks, and I really appreciate everyone's support.
The new kid on the block in the USA in the BMX magazine market is Twenty BMX. Spearheaded by ex-Transworld BMX managing editor Kevin McAvoy and photographer Justin Kosman, the Twenty crew have already finished three issues since the beginning of this year.
The question is if there is space for a new magazine. With BMX Plus!, Dig, Ride, Faction and RIDEBMX available on the USA market already you would say, not really. Unless it's refreshing and I think the mag brings a bunch of good stuff. The pages are massive to start with which is good for bringing big pictures and putting lots of content on each page. BMX racing doesn't have much of an outlet in the USA and with the demise of Transworld BMX and Moto-Mag, all eggs were in BMX Plus!'s basket. Twenty is helping out with a different look on racing than ever before.

Bombshell / Avent welcomes Tyler Brown back to the team. Tyler has the skills and desire to compliment our team of TOP NOTCH AA and A PRO riders. Tyler's upbeat personality and skills are right at home in the Bombshell / Avent family which consists of Donny Robinson, Jason Rogers, Javier Colombo, Randy Stumpfhauser, Jason Richardson, Scott Taylor, Tony Harvey, Daryl Dawes, Kevin Jones, Adam Treadwell, and Cassie Bushnell.
Tyler was an integral part of our improved frame geometry for 2005 through testing and recommendation. He has put the Avent Morpheus through torture testing, even performing back flips on the frame to prove the strength of a carbon fiber race frame.
The biggest news for Tyler this year is that he was asked to train at the UCI World Headquarters in Switzerland for 3 months.

Jeffrey Bignell used to be one fast BMX racer. He won many titles and then moved his interest into freestyle skiing where he has won many Dutch titles too. Jeffrey is working on a project that shoud be finished at the end of next month. It's a roll-in with a jump at the end, placed in front of a lake. That's how freestyle skiiers practice and Bignell thought it would be cool to let BMX riders use the ramp also. The ramp will have three sections. One for snowboarders, one for skiers and one for BMX. The set-up will be placed at "De Ijzeren Man" in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
