Today marks September 11th, a date that went into the history books because of what happened in NY in 2001. I remember driving to Geldrop to pick up a part for my MX bike when I heard it on the news. As soon as I got back home I turned on the TV and was stunned by what happened. This is 8 years ago already and if you let me, I'll continue with some bad news. All round good buddy Peter Fastenroth crashed at the trails the other day and smashed his face in. They had to cut his skull and lift his face to insert some titanium plates and screws. Scheisse! Frank's got cancer. Damn. Frans Swinkels had a burst apendix and was operated upon on arrival in Afghanistan on his next mission. Chris Doyle broke his ankle so he's pissed too. A kid on Philip's school died this week because of a tumor. Way too young. Pim van den Bos' face had healed up from his horrific crash in Belgium and now he has broken his ankle while doing "ne meeuw". I'm sure there are plenty of others around that are still suffering from a crash or illness and it plain sucks.

People send in pics for the Pin Up section and we thank them for that. If they would check the Pin Up section before sending off their photo, they probably would see that we used that photo before. Especially those naked girls riding in the woods, people, we've shown that one already. These 4 shots however are great and probably not ready for publication. The Gatorade Free Flow Tour today announced the roster of athletes that will be competing in the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals, taking place in conjunction with the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 17-20, 2009, at Salt Lake City’s EnergySolutions Arena. More than 70 of the best amateur skaters and BMX riders in the United States – along with competitors from China and Australia – will be in Salt Lake City to compete in the Finals, including the 53 event winners from the Tour season and wildcard entries selected from the overall pool of competitors.

Highlighting the roster are three-time Gatorade Free Flow Tour finalists Chase Webb, Ryan Thompson, Tyson Bowerbank (skate park), Brian Kucharski and Jordan Price (skate vert). The international roster includes Australians Matt Whyatt, Nick Kajewski and Chris Courtenay (BMX park) and China’s Li Zhixing (skate park).

World class action sports athletes will be coming out for the fourth stop of the 2009 Dew Tour season, the Toyota Challenge, September 17-20 at EnergySolutions Arena. The Dew Tour returns to Salt Lake City for the third consecutive year and will feature BMX and skateboarding competitions, as well as an FMX jam session.
Over 140 of the best action sports athletes in the world will be in Salt Lake City to compete in the four-day competition, including Utah natives Colton Satterfield (BMX dirt) and Tim "Fuzzy" Hall (BMX dirt), along with four-time defending Dew Cup champion Jamie Bestwick (BMX vert), and BMX legend Dave Mirra (BMX park). In addition to the BMX (park, dirt, vert) and the skateboarding (park, vert) competitions, the Toyota Challenge will hold an FMX jam session with top athletes like Nate Adams, Adam Jones and Mike Mason.
