This past weekend saw a historic moment in BMX with the first UCI BMX Supercross World Cup held during storms. In the past the World Cup circuit has been quite lucky with the rain however mother nature was not so kind in Holland with multiple days of rain and bad weather. The show went on and proved to be very challenging for all the riders dealing with the elements, time delays, high winds, muddy track and a slippery start gate.Off the back of a very successful start to the year for me winning the first World Cup round in Manchester, the Oceania Championships

Sam Willoughby has continued Australia’s stunning run of success in international BMX races by claiming the men’s title at the rain-soaked UCI BMX Supercross World Cup event in Papendal, Netherlands.
