2018 USABMX GRANDS - GoPro POV - Niek Kimmann
GATE Battle! Niek vs Justin vs Mitchel. Fun gate battle at the Kimmann Indoor. Between Mitchel Schotman, Justin Kimmann & Niek Kimmann. Filmed by Stijn Pappot. Thanks for Koen vd Wijst for running the gate for us!
Click 'CC' button for subtitles! During our trip to Colombia we got to ride the amazing backyard track of Andrea Escobar. She had timers to see how fast your start is, so Justin and I had to do a little battle. Enjoy!
We spent the last part of our trip in Colombia in Medellín (and a bit in Cartagena). We got the opportunity to ride the dream backyard of Andrea Escobar and even got to ride some laps at the 'Mariana Pajon' Supercross track, where we rode the World Championships in 2016.
Went to Colombia for almost 2 weeks to check out the country with my brother Justin and our friend Robin Dijk. While we were there we obviously had to ride some BMX Tracks as well! Thanks to Miguel Calixto and Pedro Montero for being our travel guides in Bogota / Ubate.
GoPro video from my semi and final of the 7th stop at the UCI BMX SuperCross World Cup Tour in Santiago del Estero, Argentina.
With one more UCI BMX SX World Cup round to go in Santiago del Estero the World Cup ranking looks like this (below). In fact Laura Smulders has gained such a lead that she will get crowned UCI World Cup champion for the third year in a row today after the final race is over. In the Men class Niek Kimmann is in a good position as he is currently leading and basically needs to score more than 6 points if Joris Daudet wins. Ask Brian Foster if you think the race for the 2018 Overall is already over, he can explain that anything can happen in BMX. The race coverage can be watched live here on FATBMX. We advise you to do so.
