You can hear the distant voice of Anthony Perrin, the best friend of German BMX star Bruno Hoffmann. Where did the French disappear to? Bruno Hoffmann launches a search and finds a hint at Berlin’s Teufelsberg (“Devil’s Mountain”). Following the track on his BMX in the dark, he has to overcome several obstacles in order to reach the next level with his tricks, just as in a video game. It turns out that Anthony Perrin is caught in a dark parallel universe.

Kenneth Tencio, Daniel Dhers and Drew Bezanson ride Black Pearl skatepark – the largest skate park in the Western Hemisphere.

"STAGES" brings together two of the scene's most iconic riders, Red Bull athlete Yohei Uchino & the legendary Chad DeGroot as they travel through time re-exploring a range of tricks & styles from the Cherry Picker and Scuffing to the highly technical modern era of Flatland BMX.

As an athlete, getting one continuous line dialled is tricky enough as it is, without adding into the mix city streets and a cameraman in tow. Taking to his adopted hometown of Madrid, BMXer Courage Adams spins the tricks in this seamless line. Captured by the ever talented Hadrian Picard as part of his Lined Up series which you can see more of below... Hadrien: "It was a pretty stressful day, 1st we had to find the perfect place in Madrid to do that, then we had to talk about the line & between security & people everywhere we had a window of about an hour to get this line, Courage pulled it in less than 30'.... The Line was filmed by Antony Finocchiaro, give him the credit he deserves :)"

The country's varied topography makes its a perfect place for all sports enthusiasts and that's why we visited it during European winter with BMX ace Dawid Godziek and pals to enjoy the summer riding down under. The second part of the BMX road trip across New Zealand begins in the South Island’s harbour city of Picton, and the nearby Reefton skatepark. They then move on to Greymouth to ride the infamous Andy’s Skatepark bowl before heading to the annual Farm Jam to get the competitive juices going.
