"After nearly 10 years in Austin, TX Clint and his family now call New Paltz, NY home. We have all seen the haven he has built for himself up there, which came from nothing but his sheer drive and determination to dive into the unknown head first. Although this wonderland he has built seems to be the only thing most of us could dream of, the winters where it is situated don't provide the greatest outdoor riding conditions. We'll miss his presence here in Austin but we can take comfort in the fact that he will be back to visit and quite often too. This footage is from just a few of the great sessions that went down while he was visiting his home away from home last April. Enjoy!" - Ashley Charles / Relic BMX

Name shop: Rampfest Indoor Skate Park
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Years in business: 10 years open, I’ve owned it for the last 5 years (I’m the 3rd owner of the park)
Employees: 8-10
I want to add a little preface to this - we aren’t a pure BMX Shop - we’re an indoor skate park mainly, with a shop attached to it. The park has been around for 10 years, I’ve owned if for the last 5. It always had a shop attached, but since my own thing is BMX, I guess the BMX Shop side just grew naturally since I’ve been there. So I think my take on local scene, retail etc is a little bit different to most.
Did you ever go to school to learn how to run a BMX business or did you just 'send it'?

A legendary day with Team Soil that was put on by Elton Castee along with TFIL. It was held at Tempest Free Running Academy in Hawthorne Ca for one of Elton Castee's TFLI youtube videos, But I had the inside scoop on what was going down with the BMX portion, 14 Bike riders came out to break 5 Guinness World Records. My old boss Ryan Barspinner Brennan flew in from Hawaii to come get the team back together to break 5 bmx world records in one day. We had to do a certain trick more than 24 times in 60 seconds with a maximum of 12 people. Click play and see what happens and what goes down!
