The words “Flem Banks Jam” have always held a level of hype when heard that not many events in Australian BMX could match besides for maybe ACT Jam. I always remember seeing photos of the jam going down before I had ever attended and hearing all the stories of how people were just killing it and sending it on a whole new level that I was not accustom to as a teenager simply riding his local skate park in Eltham.
30 years in a row we've opened the outdoor BMX season with the Mini-FATJAM in Aarle-Rixtel. Crazy when you think of it. Most of you reading this weren't riding back then but that doesn't mean that you should not check out the upcoming Mini FATJAM in Aarle-Rixtel on March 30th. It's seriously a jam for everyone who loves BMX or is involved somehow. The trails go from easy rollers (we've got 6 year old kids rolling along) to various lines and of course the KILLER jump. Ride all afternoon as much as you like. Try out dirt jumping if you never ride dirt. The session will be open from 13:00hr - 18:00hr with several prizes going out to the participating riders at 16:00hr. But come over early to get some extra practice in. The Sugar Hills Trails at De Valkendijk in Aarle-Rixtel, NL will be in tip top shape, music will be playing and it's time for another catch-up.
From 20:00hr OJA will be open for those who are still thirsty. OJA has been the after party place of the FATJAM since day 1. Located at Schoolstraat 2 in Aarle-Rixtel you should pencil that into your agenda right now.
What: Mini FATJAM
Where: Sugar Hills Trails, Valkendijk, Aarle-Rixtel, Netherlands
In the end of January I went to Barcelona for a month again. Yearly winter escape because of the shitty weather all the time in Hollandia. This time a lot of different squads from different countries pulled up in the same period. At the time parallel was packed with over 50 riders in the night. Only a few where riding. And it was not a jam.
For FVR I bought myself a kodak throwaway cam out there. It had 30 flicks. A couple fucked up but I’m still happy with the result. 3 days in a row I uploaded the gallery. [UNO / DOS / TRES] ALL PHOTOS ARE ANALOG !
With the amigos from the Common Crew we did a lot of diverse shit during my trip. These two pics are

In November the crew traveled to Torino to have a session at the new skatepark. On Saturday most of them filmed some clips at the spot in Valdo Fusi, then got drunk and slept at Baudi's place. On Sunday, when the crew resurrected we rode the new park with the local homies. Good times. Filmed (in less than 24 hours) and edited by Matteo Baudracco.
Kevin Peraza celebrated the launch of his signature Vans Old Skool BMX Pro shoes with a tour through Europe visiting Holland, France and England, meeting locals and Vans teammates along the way, to hang, ride and chat about BMX, life, and of course his new shoe. We went along for the ride to catch all the good stuff.
A year in the making, Wethepeople PRO Dillon Lloyd returns to our screens with one seriously banger filled video part. Filmed across the globe from Barcelona to California, this masterpiece.
