Here is a presentation of the French “Vibrations Urbaines of Pessac” BMX and SK8 contest, which is one of the best “by and for riders contest” in France with more than 120 competitors for each contest and 12,000 spectators. The 10th edition will take place on 3 and 4 ofNov 2007 (BMX) in Pessac (very near Bordeaux airport, or station). We will have more than 10 000 euros for prize 

Vans threw a little party to celebrate the public opening of their new offices on Thursday afternoon complete with food, drink, performances from MXPX and Royal Crown Revue and a kicking session on the new mini ramp. Over 1,000 people came over to see the new digs. Of course Steve van Doren was grilling in a Hawaii shirt and having fun.

Rock and roll with the locals and the pros all day! The TIMO mini-ramp jam-session will start around 12:00 and ends at 17:00, (maybe street ride afterwards). Then the lucky numbers 1, 2 and 3 will be given their prices in all 3 categories;

Nike 6.0 is bringing Banksgiving to town, and we’d like to invite you to feast on the good times. "AA Pro motos 1-4-2 Main 2-2-3 Overall = 1st "YES! My first AA win ever! I won $870 plus $25 for a moto win. Here's how the rest of the main finished: 2nd- Gary Ellis, 3rd- Justin Green, 4th- Brian Foster, 5th- Eric Carter, 6th- Charles Townsend, 7th-Matt Hadan, 8th- Danny Nelson. I beat 'em all! There were 28 AA pros here."

Pro Open motos 3-1-2 Main 2nd. "Won $240. Brian Foster won. Cool, my best pro day EVER! I was passing a lot of people down the second straight. My big day finally came. Everyone gave me props! It's almost kind of funny that "I" won. But I raced consistent all day. At night, ate pizza in the hotel room."

With a sold out Joint inside of the Hardrock cafe in Las Vegas, the BMX community got together for another Nora Cup party. 2000 people made it in and there still was a line outside of riders who wanted make it through the door. 2007 was a good one. Many people came over to see who won the Nora Cups this year. Or maybe it was the 1987 - 2007 Skyway Recreation gathering hosted by Mat Hoffman, the Stephen Murray benefit PK Ripper Raffle or Mini Kizz that got them there. Maybe they just came to party.

More and more riders are taking things in their own hand. Over in Croatia Mislav Streicher not only started the Zion Bikes team but he started a full on company making BMX frames and parts. Their website is about to be finished and for most of us it's good to see it in English or we would have to call Senad Grosic for the translation. It's got info on all Zion's distributors, their team riders, shops in Croatia where you can find Zion stuff, product info and a whole bunch of photos to show you that BMX is going strong in a Croatia.

Some people's jobs are better than others'. The brains behind this promotion campaign must have had a good day when he showed up for the photoshoot of their new seat. A little bit to the left, a little higher, yes, that's just right: Click!
