Why you should sign our petition.
BMX Australia is concerned for the long-term future of this sport. BMX has strong membership, and a high medal winning potential at international events. This move is about horizontally integrating our sport as the ASC have set out in AWE, and providing our members with the support on the athlete pathway they deserve.
Why you should sign the petition to support BMX Australia controlling their own high performance program
First, a little history:
-The BMX high performance program was established in 2006 under the Cycling Australia High Performance Unit – by all accounts at the time this was the most appropriate option
-As a sport BMX Australia has since matured with a greater sense of direction for the sport, and greater stability as a National Sporting Organisation.
This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., that's the e-mail address you should hit up if you're looking for a job in the BMX industry. Full Factory have got the Sunday, GSport, Odyssey and Fairdale brands under their umbrella and if you know BMX, and can talk, the position of Sale Representative might be something for you. The best thing is, the position is out of the CALIFORNIA office. Those struggling with the harsh winter should not need any more motivation to send their CV over to the e-mail listed in the beginning of this post. This is your chance, go for it.
