Here we go again – The world‘s most significant Freestyle BMX Event – SNIPES BMX COLOGNE – will take place July 2nd & 3rd. Year 32 will be all about „CELEBRATING BMX“ we continue to follow our own maxim of bringing the sport and the festival back once again. As always the aim is to bring the fun as well as the fascinating easiness of the sport back into the focus of our riders as well as our spectators.

FISE World Series second stop will take place in Croatia from July15th to 23rd in the City of Osijek. After the first stop of the tour in Montpellier and its huge crowd, the FISE World Series is ready for the second stop in Croatia and will be featuring the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup 2016. The location of the event is called Copacabana, just next to the river Drava and the beautifull fortified city of Osijek. If you get confused about the pronunciation, try replacing ‘ij’ with ‘y’, and say Osyek.

For the first time in its history, BMX Freestyle Park becomes a recognized bicycle discipline, as it is now certified by the UCI. This novelty in the cyclist world is the result of a great collaboration between Union Cyclist International (UCI) and FISE (Festival International des Sports Extrêmes) through the launch of the UCI BMX Freestyle Park World Cup. The first stop ever was during FISE World Montpellier in May and the top 3 are Alex Coleborn (UK), Daniel Dhers (Ven) and Mike Varga (Can).
