Saturday May 4th is finally the day! After several years of neglect, we have reshaped the Dundeetrails and restored them to their original state under the watchful eye of trail supervisor dachshund Gert. ?
And of course that calls for a trail jam! You are welcome in Het Hulsel from 12 noon, yes it is a bit of a drive but then you have something. ? As always, the BBQ will start later in the day and then end with a campfire. ? You can also stay overnight, just bring your own tent or camper. ?️?
The trails are on private property so if you want to come, send me a DM for the address!

American BMX Freestyler Hannah Roberts is just 22 years old but has still amassed an impressive list of achievements. She has several UCI World Cup titles, five World Championships, and an Olympic silver medal. That silver medal came during the Tokyo games in 2021 when her score of 96.10 was a little short of Great Britain’s Charlotte Worthington, who took gold with a score of 97.50. Three years later, Roberts is hoping to win that elusive gold medal.
“I knew that there were some things that I could do to improve my score and hopefully take that gold back. I messed up in the moment. That's all it is,” Roberts said of her performance in Tokyo.
Since winning the 2017 world title when she was just 16, Roberts has been the pre-eminent figure in women's BMX Freestyle competitions. Her latest triumph at the 2023 World Championships in Glasgow marked her fifth time donning the prestigious rainbow jersey. Of course, following crashes at both the World Championships in Abu Dhabi and the final World Cup event in Australia in 2022, it’s clear she’s not invincible. But despite those crashes and injury setbacks, she’s determined to persevere and go for gold in Paris this summer.
“I think I handle injuries well. For the most part I’m like, ‘I broke my arm, let’s cut the cast and keep riding,’” says Roberts. “This time, I was not able to do anything on my own. I was on crutches, and it

Almost time again for the annual Mini FATJAM. We'll have to fix that dirt spot in the coming weeks to make sure everyone can enjoy a day of dirt riding at the Sugar Hills Trails in Aarle-Rixtel. The trails first appeared in 1990 and they're still there. It's also the first year we threw a Mini FATJAM. 2024 will be no different. Same concept. Bring your bike. Ride as much as you like. Hang out. Jump the Killer. Chill. Clear the doubles. Catch up. Find new lines. Crack a beer. Learn a new trick. Win a prize. Vans, Paul's Boutique and TSG have got you covered.
BMX-ers together in one place having fun. That's basically it. It's that simple. Help is welcome getting the jumps in shape, getting rid of the grass, making sure everything runs smoothly. There's plenty to be done and everyone can help. We'll have music and Paul will grab that microphone around 15:30hr which will be the time the goodies will find new owners. For those who've never been to a FATJAM, this is your chance.
The afterparty will take place at OJA. Anything goes at that place. So be prepared. Booking.com for places to stay. Google maps for Directions (Valkendijk, Aarle-Rixtel, Brabant, Netherlands). For those needing bike parts, contact Paul's Boutique BMX to see if he's got what you need.
