The early eighties were the golden years for BMX racing in Holland. With over 5000 licenced BMX-ers there was all kind of crap on the market to show you were a true "Fietscrosser". Almost every car in the parking lot of a BMX race had the "Ik Hou Van Fietscross" sticker on the rear window. It was popular, to say the least. The 7 cm high by 45 cm wide window sticker featured a bow legged Tinker Juarez getting rad on his "Crossfiets".
Okay, I saw this commercial on TV that was about fireworks and extreme sports. It mentioned a website so I decided to check it out to see if there was any BMX in it. Guess what! The complete website is presented by quiz master Bas de Bever! The multiple BMX and MTB champion presents a game on the Extreme Fireworks site wearing a Troy Lee Jersey. How funny. You gotta check it out for yourself. To understand the game you need to be able to speak Dutch. Learn more about the Dutch BMX coach by clicking here. Welcome to the team, Lance Mosley! Dirt -1st Place “Sick Trick” (double flip) Vans Triple Crown contest -Utah -Past X-Games & Gravity Games athlete
No, we didn’t pick up Cory Nastazio. Look again, it’s Lance Mosley straight outta Nashville. Whether it’s a contest at Venice Beach or a night on the town, Lance is for sure to bring his A-game.
Welcome to the team, Chris Gerber! Dirt/Park -9th Place overall in Dirt in the inaugural Dew Action Sports Tour -Past X-Games athlete -One of only a handful of riders pulling double whip flips. Chris has been a silent shredder from Ft Wayne for years. But that is all about to change. With backing from SE to get to ALL of the contests, look for him to be in plenty more finals. He’s got more than a few tricks up his sleeves for ’06.
TORONTO, Ontario, Canada. A community meeting will take place on Wednesday 14 December 2005 at 7 p.m. to address the proposed BMX facility at Marilyn Bell Park in Toronto. The meeting will be hosted by Councillor Sylvia Watson at the Masaryk Cowan Community Centre, and should be a good opportunity to discuss recreational opportunities for youths, and the planning and design of the proposed park.
The history of this project is a long one, dating back over seven years with several different proposed locations and site designs. This past August, Toronto’s city council approved funding for the first phase of the Extreme Sports Park project—the BMX park. The BMX course is to be built to Olympic competition standards on the western waterfront of Marilyn Bell Park. For more information, call: 1-416-392-7919.

Andy Zeiss and Mike Emde found a date for next year's Rebel Jam in Berlin: 11-13August 2006.
"To be honest it wasn't the easiest part to find a space in 2006 as such many and good events will happen and also the Soccer Worlds are taking place here in Germany starting 09.06.- 09.07.2006." says co-organiser Zeiss. For the location Andy and Mike would like to provide everybody the great facilities of Mellowpark in Berlin once again. Also there will be some minor changes on the set-up to make things even more interesting on that weekend. Emde: "Feel sure that we and our partners will give our best again to ensure a great rebeljam 2006 and a nice time in Berlin - But once again: rebeljam wouldn't have been such a great success without your huge interest and support. THANKS A MILLION!!!"
The rebeljam website will also be updated by early 2006. So keep an eye open on any news: www.rebeljam.com
